Mr. Randolph’s achievements forever changed our nation–breaking down barriers of racism and injustice. To this day, his activism, spirit and voice shape our nation’s progress on civil rights and workers’ rights. Asa Philip Randolph deserves to be remembered and honored for his commitment to social justice and workplace equality. The New Jersey Transit Authority has recently granted us the right to erect a statue memorializing the work of Asa Philip Randolph at Pennsylvania Station in Newark, NJ. Such a memorial would serve as a reminder to the thousands of residents, commuters, and travelers who pass through Newark Penn Station every day of his contributions to our great nation.

You can help ensure that A. Philip Randolph’s spirit and legacy live on to educate and inspire future generations and forge a bond with the rich history of the civil rights and labor movements. Would you please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us achieve our goal. Please remember that the Essex County A. Philip Randolph Institute is a 501C-3 non-profit organization.
